Working at RAW Analytics

We build forecasting models and analytics infrastructure for Dutch companies that take their planning seriously. Small team, high bar, low noise.

What we do

Our clients are mid-sized companies with concrete questions: how much are we going to sell next month, how much stock do we need, where's the room in our margin. No abstract AI strategies — work that sits on someone's screen at nine o'clock Monday morning and that decisions get made on.

That means we get involved across the whole chain: understanding the data that's there (and the data that isn't), building models that fit the actual use case, and delivering something a planner, controller, or operations manager will genuinely use. Statistics, software, and a bit of organisational sense, in that order.

How we work

Small team. Short lines. No pyramid of consultants where someone four layers above you builds a deck about work you did. You sit with the client, you write the code yourself, and you're accountable for what you deliver — from the first conversation to the model running in production.

We prefer simplicity over complexity, transparent methods over black boxes, and "this demonstrably works better" over "this is the newest thing." That doesn't mean we're conservative — we build with modern tools and reach for advanced methods where they earn their keep. But a well-specified regression model anyone can explain is often worth more than a neural network nobody dares to challenge.

Who we're looking for (eventually)

People who take both statistics and code seriously. Who like working close to the client problem, and who get energy from the moment a model reveals something that wasn't visible before. Senior or junior matters less than genuine curiosity and a willingness to explain your work to someone who isn't a data scientist.

We don't have any open roles right now.

But if you think you belong here — send a mail to [address]. Tell us what you've built, not where you've worked. A few lines about a problem you've solved is more useful than a CV full of certificates. We read everything, and we reply.
